Our story
A meeting on the metro.
We know a thing or two about getting married. We met by chance on the metro in Russia. A few months and somewhere around 1,100 hours on the phone later, we got engaged in Sweden. Jane moved to Russia while we worked through the fiancé visa process. Eventually, we packed up again and moved to Jane's hometown in Utah. Twenty days later, we were married. Yes, basically our own little version of 90 Day Fiancé.
Not long after, we moved to San Diego knowing next to no one so Jane could finish her photography degree. While she finished school, we decided to build a photography and film business together, completely from scratch. Years later, we've photographed and filmed weddings side by side, built a life together, and started a family of our own.
How we work
Two perspectives.
One story.
Jane leads photography; Kolya leads film. Both of us working together to capture your day with care, without pulling you in two different directions.
Afterward, the work remains with us. We edit every single photograph and film in-house, carrying the same care through to the final gallery and film. There is no batch editing here.
Why it matters
We made it here.
Maybe that's why weddings have never felt like just weddings to us. We know firsthand how much can happen before two people finally get to stand next to each other on their wedding day.
